OAKLAND FILM MAKER DEBUTS SHORT FILM TWO WEEKS FROM MONDAY AND HOSTS FUNDRAISER FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION

 

 

Carissa Weir, founder of Cacao Films, will be conducting a screening and discussion of her new short film Two Weeks From Monday at the Delancey Screening room on January 16th, 2010 from 5 – 8pm. Cacao Films aims to prod'[uce uplifting works that capture the diversity of the human experience. This project was self-funded by Weir who was inspired to make this film after she witnessed her brother, DeAnte’s, remarkable zest for life while battling with Muscular Dystrophy (MD). This event is a fundraiser for the MD Association.
